The Beginning of the Founder's Story

Education
The founder is a graduate of Business Administration majoring in Entrepreneurial Marketing on Mindanao State University’s main campus. Her entrepreneurial journey started when she was 7 years old.
She loves food. She has a passion for cooking. It was her mother who taught her the first product she sold at her elementary school. She partnered with her business-minded childhood friends to put up the capital, and their business went well.
The Challenge
Unfortunately, her father is not a business-minded type of person. He’s the typical father Robert Kiyosaki called “poor dad” in his book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad.”. Her fear of her father made her stop reaching her dream of making her business big. She has the drive to pursue her dreams, but she’s fearful of her father. She started questioning her capabilities and shifted her focus to academics.
She graduated valedictorian in grade school and was an honor student in high school, with awards such as “Outstanding Editor in Chief” of the school’s news press called “Ang Balanghai."
In her college days, she was able to discover different foods which she sold to be able to pay for the unforeseen school expenses.
Her food discoveries were appreciated by the people who tasted them. One of her discoveries she called “veggiempura” (vegetable tempura) which was sold during their product expo made her team earn around Php 1,000.00 per day with expenses amounting to approximately Php300.00 per day.
After graduation, she started a food business locally called “carinderia” – an informal fast-food restaurant. She described that experience as a successful and a failed endeavor. She developed a good relationship with the neighborhood who repeatedly bought her products during her 1-month operations, but because she was alone doing all the work, her body was not able to cope.
Depression gave her hallucinations. Suicidal thoughts never left her brain. She was a mess until she started writing her vision, dreams, and plans. It was in 2018 when she decided to get back on track.
Moving Forward
The road has many twists, turns, ups, and downs. It felt like a long roller coaster ride. She doesn’t like it, but she planted in her brain a positive mindset to enjoy the journey.
She promised herself to never give up again. She will continue “one step at a time” because she learned that rushing things will not give a good result.
That’s the beginning of the founder’s story.
